1. Attended the British Orientalists Conference held at the University of Cambridge, England, in February 1974.
2. Participated as the Muslim Representative a well-attended Jewish-Muslim Dialog arranged by Christian Professors in the Faculty of Divinity, University of Cambridge, Cambridge, England in May 1974.  The Jewish Representative in the Dialogue was Dr. De Lange, a Professor of Rabbinic in the University of Oxford.
3. Attended the Abna al-Athir Conference held at the University of Mosul, Iraq, in March 1982 and read a research paper.
4. Participated in the 3rd meeting of the Islamic University League, held at Tunis, Tunisia in March / April, 1984.
5. Participated as Member of Pakistan Delegation in the Al-Azhar Millennium Celebrations held at Cairo, Egypt in March 1983.
6. Attended First International Conference on “Buddhism and National Cultures” held at New Delhi, India, in October1986.
7. Attended the International Seminar on “The Role of Islamic Universities and other Educational Institutions in disseminating Islamic Culture”, held at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from 5th to 9th September 1988 and read a research paper.
8. Attended World's Religions Conference held at Istanbul, Turkey, from 17th to 21st May, 1989, and read a research paper. 
9. Attended the International Seminar on “Islamic Theology and Philosophy”, held at The National University of Malaysia from 10th to 12th June, 1996, and read a research paper.
10. Attended the International Seminar on “Islamic Studies in the Asean Region:  History, Approaches and Future Trends” held in the Prince of Songkla University, Pattani, Thailand, from 25th to 28th June 1998 and read a research paper.
11. Attended a seminar on “Sunnah” held in the department of Usuluddin, Institute of Islamic Studies, University Brunei Darussalam on 19-20 October, 2003, and read a research paper.
12. Attended a seminar on “Science from the Islamic Perspective” held in the Faculty of Science, University Brunei Darussalam on 30th June and 1st July, 2005 and read a research paper.

1. Attended as Karachi University Delegate the All Pakistan Islamic Studies Conference held at Hyderabad, Pakistan in Feb 1962 and read a research paper.
2. Attended as Karachi University Delegate the First National Congress on Maulana Jalaluddin Rumi, held at Peshawar, Pakistan in February 1978.
3. Attended as Discussant the three day Seminar on the Economic System of Islam held at Karachi, Pakistan, in April 1979.
4. Attended the National Seerat Conferences, held at Islamabad, Pakistan in 1980, 1983, 1984, 1986, and 1987 and read research papers.
5. Participated in the Seminar on Nuclear Arms Race and Nuclear Disarmament: The Muslim Perspective held at Karachi, Pakistan, in March 1984.
6. Attended the 2nd National Seerat Conference held at Sialkot, Pakistan, in February1987 and read a research paper.
7. Attended the First International Conference on Scientific Miracles of Quran and Sunna held at Islamabad, Pakistan, from 17th to 20th October 1987.
